an interesting read. I want to read the articles with your analysis but get a 'this domain is parked' message. I can't see what the issue with '15 minute cities' is on it's own, but the creeping weaponisation/control-freakery of various forms of seemingly harmless technology alongside the basic concept does concern me a lot.
But a lot of the concern I have has a flipside, that being for the most part a lot of the most scary weaponised uses of technology are niche cases.
That said when I see what's being done to Gaza, there seems to be no limit on what cruelty would get commited by any side that can claim the appropriate victimhood to retaliate with excessive force ( and add collective punishment )
One side views a 6 drawn on the ground, another group sees it as a 9
Apologies for the broken link, I was in the middle of the process of shutting down a companion blog on Wordpress and merging the content onto this blog. Hopefully, all the broken links have now been fixed:) FYI, all of the posts I've written on '15 minute cities/neighbourhoods' and related issues can be accessed from this newly created page: Posts on movement https://stirfrombelow.substack.com/p/posts-on-movement
I'll try not to look to confirm my own biases and consider legitimate criticism. ( I'm not always good at making sure my mind is ready for nuanced thought )
"At the end of my life, I want to look back and think that as far as was possible, I did the right thing, regardless of the cost."
I aspire to that too - and I admire and respect you for it.
Solidarity.
Thanks for that, it means a lot, trust me:)

I'll look more into the topic tomorrow.
