I’ve written more than I originally intended to about the situation regarding protests outside hotels and hostels accommodating asylum seekers. I’ve done so because the way I see things, there’s a desired outcome to all of this. Namely the imposition of digital identity, ostensibly to control illegal immigration, and also, a clampdown on protest. A summer of disorder on the streets would provide the ideal justification for those who presume to rule over us to impose this upon us.
The three posts linked to below, each in their own way, look at how situations are allowed to develop, the inevitable angry reaction to those situations, and following on from that, the ‘solution’ which inevitably seems to involve the imposition of digital identity and, a clampdown on our freedoms. A classic case of problem, reaction, solution. Have a read and see what you think:
The next step is... 25.7.25
In a period of rising tensions, more than ever, it’s essential for people to take a step back and ask the question – where is all of this leading to? This applies to all sides. When tensions are being whipped up, look at who is doing it and, ask some questions about their motivations. Genuine concerns get hijacked by people with nefarious agendas. Right up at the top of the food chain, there are those who want to subject us to ever greater levels of surveillance and control. They do not care about the societal costs of events being engineered to justify this agenda. All I’m asking is that in the coming weeks, people take this on board, and don’t let themselves get played and exploited by elements that do not have their interests at heart.
Keeping an eye on the tensions... 21.7.25
All I really want to do in the interim is issue some brief warnings about where all of this appears to be heading. Namely, more clamp downs on protests, regardless of where they could be placed on the political spectrum, and also, those that can’t be placed anywhere on the spectrum. That means letting situations ‘develop’ to the point that vast swathes of the population are clamouring for the imposition of order to restore calm – or at least, an illusion of calm. The big prize for the powers that be will be a much wider acceptance of digital ID – ostensibly to ‘deal with’ illegal migration. It just needs some high profile useful idiots to support, echo and disseminate the calls for these measures, and it’s job done.
FAO - rage baiters, divide and rule merchants and, useful idiots 19.7.25
With my community activist hat on, I can’t let the impact of recent events pass by without making some kind of comment on them. Suffice to say, the current tensions aren’t making it easier for any community activists trying to build a sense of cohesion and solidarity at the level of the neighbourhood. I’ve written more than I care to remember about this. I’ve also written more than I care to remember about the dangers posed by those who presume to rule over us seeking to divide us, the divide and rule merchants who are their useful idiots, the rage baiters and, the race baiters.
Since the publication of these posts, there has been a slight fall off in the number of subscribers to this blog. Well, if people can’t hack being told to take a few steps back to see how much of this is being manipulated, I really don’t know that to say… Anyway, to further reinforce the points I’m trying to make, here’s a poem:
Ride out the storm…
Tensions escalate
Strife spreads
A momentum gathers…
…all of its own
Where will this lead?
Ask the manipulators
Divide and rule…
…is the name of the game
Warnings unheeded
Consequences disregarded
Thinking suspended
…it really is a shitshow
Just a ‘conspiracy theorist’?
Well let’s just see…
…who’s right in the end
Not that it matters
Once it spreads
…there’s no stopping it
Repercussions?
…they’ll come soon enough
Here’s our grisly fate
…surveillance
…a clampdown
…the digital grid
Could it be different?
…no one’s listening
…wise voices are derided
What’s the point?
Keep my head down
…stay out of trouble
…don’t take sides
…ride out the storm
I’m not doing this to win a popularity contest. If I wanted to do that, the last thing I’d be is a political blogger! I’m doing this because as a community activist, the last thing I want to see is more division at the grassroots. What I also don’t want to see are situations being engineered for the specific purpose of justifying the imposition of digital identity and, the further erosion of our freedoms. I’ll admit that I’m getting more than pissed off at the number of useful idiots happily undertaking their role in a scripted drama, the outcome of which, will be ushering all of this in. If saying this ruffles a few feathers and leads to more people unsubscribing from this blog, so be it. I’d rather speak my truth than moderate what I say just to appease the useful idiots.
Wait and see is a good piece of advice.
A good indication that we're being played was last year's warning of an anti-immigration protest on a Wednesday!
600 local ant-fascists turned out in my area. Not one "fascist".
