In my previous post – Something feels...off... 5.4.25 – I wrote that I was going to take my foot off the gas for a bit, rest up and take some time to reflect ahead of what I feel is going to be a heavy summer.
Beautiful words, thanks for sharing, it's so good to hear fellow souls who get it, it grinds you down witnessing such destruction, such deliberate disconnection from all that is meaningful, the sheer power and evil from the predator class, ruining life, over and over, it's painful and yet some are so oblivious they don't even notice, don't care, sucked into programming they can't even see.
Thank you so much for both of your comments - coming from someone who 'gets it' they mean a lot. I wasn't entirely certain how the use of my poetry on a political blog was going to go down but, from the reaction I'm getting, I think it was a risk worth taking:) Having been on this mortal coil for almost three score years and ten, and having lived through a lot, this is the weirdest and most dystopian I think things have ever been. There have been a few times when I've thought about quitting any sort of activity and just letting the world get on with it. However, comments such as yours are one thing that help me keep going. Another is the fact that with two grandchildren, I've got skin in the game so I have to keep going:)

I totally get you, I've been here a long time, feels a hundred lifetimes if I'm honest, I never felt at home here, always knew something was off and it just gets weirder all the time, on every level things are ramping up, you can feel it all the time. I too have questioned what I'm doing, if there's any point, in any of it - my blog, my substack, what's it for, no-one notices, so little response, things just keep on moving.....but the few I connect with make it matter, they matter more to me than anything and I don't what else I would do, I just feel compelled to keep doing it. I value all those who express their truth. Keep on keeping on, it's all we can do....

There's still a long way to go but, there's a certain desperation coming to the surface among the elites who think they can rule over us with impunity that offers us an opportunity...
Totally agree, the ramping up of everything is a desperation tactic trying to overwhelm people with everything at once, the relentless chaos, and hold control and get all they want rolled out. It can seem hopeless, evil is running amok, but we can only do what we can do within our own influential field.
..."We have the misfortune to have rulers that can only measure our worth by how much we contribute to their cherished bottom line."...one of the most succinct observations I have run across.
